Am I eligible to take up Outside jobs? I am a Work Permit/Student pass/S pass/E pass holder, can I apply for jobs on Outside? Are there any screening procedures that I have to go through? Is there CPF contribution for the shifts I’ve completed on Outside? Do I need to include the income from this job in my income tax declaration? Do freelancers need to pay income tax?

By working through Outside, you will be considered as a freelancer. Freelance work in Singapore requires the fulfilment of the following conditions:


- Minimum 16 years old.

- Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

- Person is not barred from rendering or receiving services under the law.
