Am I eligible to take up Outside jobs? I am a Work Permit/Student pass/S pass/E pass holder, can I apply for jobs on Outside? Are there any screening procedures that I have to go through? Is there CPF contribution for the shifts I’ve completed on Outside? Do I need to include the income from this job in my income tax declaration? Do freelancers need to pay income tax?

You are required to verify your Outside account with SingPass before you will be able to send offers for the jobs that are listed on the Outside platform.


Additionally, some hirers may require additional screening procedures during the job application, such as questionnaires or video introductions. If they approve this interest application, you will receive a notification and be able to see the shifts that they have made available.
