Can I cancel a shift after I have been confirmed for it? What if I cannot make it to a confirmed shift at the last minute?

The Outside team recommends that you notify the hirer as soon as possible to give them sufficient time to find replacements.


To cancel a shift:


1. Select a shift under the “Confirmed” section of your “Schedule” tab.


2. Select the right shift by looking out for its job name, date and time, location, and hirer name.


3. In the individual shift page, select “Cancel job”. Cancelling your shift requires you to submit a reason.


Do note that last-minute cancellations may negatively affect your community rating. Find out more about how cancellations will affect your community rating here.


If you have a valid reason for cancelling your shift, do submit a penalty waiver to prevent deductions to your community rating.
